So nice to finally find an Ecuadorian restaurant! I enjoyed some bolones and coffee, which took me right back to the beaches of Canoa. They have cola mansana, and their seco de pollo and ceviche that my family tried was delicious and authentic. Definitely recommended!

This place is legit. I just came back from Ecuador last week and was surprised to find the place right by my work. The food was delicious! I ordered the encebollado and a bolon mixto. The encebollado had a big portion of albacore and the flavor was spot on. The bolón was huge as well. I could not finish it. I recommend anyone who wants a taste of Ecuadorian food!

I really appreciate the effort the owner has made on making this place look like an Ecuadorian restaurant. I’m sure it was a big investment given that they opened just after Covid-19’s lockdown. Atmosphere: Clean and spacious dining area with large screen tvs. Main Dishes: Good flavor and nice presentation. They do have a limited menu, but that’s probably due to prioritizing well known dishes over the less popular ones. Appetizers: It would be nice if they at least have 2 appetizers to choose from. Printed Menu: Maybe they could print out a 1/4 of a paper with the dishes available for that day and the prices, that way people at least can have an idea of how much their bill might be. Payment: They only accept Cash and Zelle (maybe put a sign on the door to let people know before start ordering). All and all I enjoyed eating here, mainly because I see that there is a true desire from the owner to provide good Ecuadorian food.

Came here specifically for the Encebollado and let me tell you it did not disappoint! Also had the Filete de Corbina, a fried fish dish from the coastal town of Guayaquil. It was very flavorful and perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and attentive, Pepe sat down with us and told us a little about the origins of what we were eating, and offered many suggestions based on our preferences. If you have never tried Ecuadorian cuisine this is the place for you to change that! Ask for Pepe or Angie and you will have an excellent time! Tell them @foodandcultureoc sent you

Visiting the area from the east coast, a bit tough to see the entrance from the road but I’m glad I found this place. The taste brings me back to home in Ecuador, food tastes fresh. I had the encebollado, empanada de queso, and tortilla de verde. Amazing! Highly recommend this place!

I drive a hour from the Valley just to come have this delicious, Ecuadorian food. So many options to have, from their amazing Ecuadorian bolón as its national dish consisting of a large ball of mashed green plantains, typically stuffed with a pork mixture (chicharrón or chorizo), cheese, or a combination of both and their amazing Sango de Pescado Ecuadorian coastal dish, best described as a rich, creamy stew or thick sauce featuring fish simmered in a velvety purée made from grated green plantains, vegetables, and ground peanuts. It is a hearty, flavorful meal with a unique, creamy texture from the plantains. Definitely give it a try. “ DONDE ANGIE “

ECUADOR (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - Probably available daily is the Guayaquil and coastal favorite encebollado de pescado, usually made with a type of whitefish but here full of meaty slices of tuna. The name alludes to the cooking of the stew with plenty of onions, which fill the flavors of the broth and are used raw for topping as well. As customary, the encebollado is served with a cup of freshly toasted chifles, thinly sliced plantain chips, and plenty of limes to squeeze into the soup.
